Skins, Texture Packs & Character Customization in Paper Minecraft
Published · 1 min read

One of Griffpatch's most remarkable achievements in Paper Minecraft is full support for custom skins and texture packs directly within Scratch's vector rendering engine.
Selecting Built-in Skins
From the main menu or options screen, click on the Character Model icon to toggle between Steve, Alex, and community-created character designs. Each skin features animated limb walking cycles and dynamic armor overlays.
Armor Customization
Equipping leather, iron, gold, or diamond armor visually updates your in-game sprite. Leather armor can even be dyed at a cauldron using flower pigments (dandelions, poppies, lapis lazuli) to create personalized colorful outfits.
